The ultimate bowl of ramen: Golden sesame dan dan noodles at Temmabashi Sasara in Osaka
The dan dan noodles (tantanmen) at Temmabashi Sasara are made with a low level of spice so they can be enjoyed even by those who cannot eat spicy foods. But spicy food lovers don’t need to worry either, they can choose from six levels of heat!
For the soup, the restaurant uses lots of golden sesame from Wadaman, a long-standing sesame specialist shop established in 1883.
The soup has a distinctive, rich flavor and a mellow sesame fragrance. Even with its richness, the soup is creamy without being cloying and somehow has a delicate taste.
On every table there is a selection of five types of seasonings, so you can also adjust the flavor to your own liking!
